Ethiopia is where consumption of coffee began in 900 AD. Ethiopia has the perfect environments for cultivating coffee. There are many heirloom varieties grown within the Sidama region. Yirgacheffe is one of the most beloved of these varieties. Light bodied, flora hints of raspberry, blueberry, and green apple.
Recommended roast: Medium.

Brian Nagy Very good. Smooth going down and a great aftertaste.

JR Solid bean, much better than burnt starbucks. I feel if it were roasted a bit lighter some of the fruity notes would be discernable. I let it rest 8 days to let the beans release carbon dioxide to help taste the great notes. I have brewed it in v60 and pulled espresso shots with this bean
